Domestic Support

At Unique Care Solutions (South East) Ltd we operate a number of services though our domestic support service. Whether you are a busy professional looking for a cleaner, or an adult that has mobility or health problems, we understand the frustration that can be faced when preforming domestic tasks. This could be due to being a older adult, having learning disabilities, mental health or having various medical conditions including Parkinson's, acquired brain injuries, Multiple sclerosis or strokes/TIA's. Whilst a move to nursing or residential care is right for some people, being in your own home and getting the help and support that is needed can often be less stressful and more beneficial to both a persons mental and physical health.

Unique Care Solutions (South East) Ltd can help you to maintain your independence by providing the support in your own home which relieves the pressures of your daily jobs, and whilst being out and about allowing you, the client, to keep your routine as normal as possible.

All of our support workers can help with our services provided within our domestic support service. The exception to this is that all of our maintenance services are carried out by a specialist team.

Q: Is Domestic Support An Alternative To Nursing & Residential Care?

A move to a Nursing or residential home can be stressful, worrying and sometimes unnecessary. In a lot cases, older adults and those who have learning disabilities, mental health and adults with medical conditions, will need some form of help. This doesn't mean that they need to relocate when they are already safe in their own homes, whether this is on their own, with a loved one or with the help of an alarm pendent (we can arrange this through our partners Response Plus). The benefits of staying in your own home is something that we would also recommend over nursing or residential care.

We believe that homes are cherished and are full of love and memories that have been built upon over many years. It's where families have been raised, and come together at special times. We believe that it our responsibility to allow clients to have these special memories by continuing to live in their own homes for as long they are able to. We do this by offering our services within our domestic support.

In order to provide a complete domestic support service, our team will carry out a full assessment, and tailor this to a bespoke domestic plan. This is then either reviewed on a six monthly or yearly basis or when a need arises. By carrying out these reviews on a regular basis we can ensure that the highest standards are met.
